Alphabet soup
I have been monogramming alphabets today and it has been irritating. For instance on one of the fonts don't use the r, and the J is funny on another one. Aww nuts my head is spinning

Monogram
WOW Temple sew and Quilt store donated a used monogramming machine to our chapter of Threads of Love! Best thing is, I get to do the work! Our chapter makes memory blankets for bereaved parents, with the name of the child, a date maybe, and a short message. One of our volunteers has been doing all of them so I mentioned this to Steve and he floored me with "I got one in the Waco store you can have." I have done a few blankets but am hoping to get the alphabets of all the different fonts stitched out for reference this week. YEA! that will help a lot. Wish me luck!

Sewing day
Well today is a sewing day. For me to get things back in a good place. Problem is...Where do I start? I have been avoiding it for various reasons and really, this is what I want to do. But just as soon as I start I have to stop for something. If it isn't supplies it is a machine. But here goes nothin' I will accomplish something today in my sewing room...
Right after I go to the store.

invisible zipper foot
How did I ever live without an invisible zipper foot? It looks a little strange but wow what an easy button - uh - zipper. It worked beautifully, my client will be amazed. Well, probably not because she doesn't know the difference, but Tim sure was!

Sew What
I have been sewing for 24+ years now and today I bought my very first invisible zipper foot. Sew what you say? It seemed appropriate to log it somehow. Sew here is it's coronation: It's own blog. TA-DA!
Ironically I didn't buy it for me, I bought it to work on someonelse's invisible zipper - LOL
Happy stitching
